Vic Reeves is a character played by James Moir that first became popular in a stage production called Big Night Out. In 1989 it made the transfer to television and that was soon followed by the Smell of Reeves and Mortimer with his comic partner Bob Mortimer. They returned to TV in 1999 with Bang Bang It's Reeves & Mortimer and in July 2000 Vic Reeves appeared on the former UK Play channel in Vic Reeves Examines.
