Disraeli was a late 70's ATV production about the 19th century British PM Benjamin Disraeli with Ian McShane in the lead role. This has also been broadcast in the US on PBS Materpiece Theatre at least three times. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078601/

As a bonus I've included an excellent rare old episode from BBC2 Play of the Week. The feature-length Langrishe, Go Down is a Harold Pinter screenplay of the Aidan Higgins novel with a cast that included Judi Densch, Jeremy Irons, and Annette Crosbie.
