RHS Flower Shows 2014

Every year BBC offers up some very good programming for horticultural enthusiasts and a staple of that is their coverage of the "big three" RHS flower shows: Hampton Court Palace and Tatton Park, held in July, and the grand daddy of them all, the Chelsea Flower Show held every May.
These shows aren't some bloke walking around with a camera looking at flowers. They are a magazine format with interviews, stories, mini-documentaries, reviews, etc. Some of the participating celebrities I recall seeing in the Chelsea episodes include Benedict Cumberbatch and his mom, Wanda Ventham. Emilia Fox, Anna Maxwell Martin, Julian Clary and former principal ballerina Darcey Bussell.

A Place To Call Home - Disc 2

Australian drama serial A Place To Call Home returned for a second, and final, series. The story has ended and it will not be returning.
A Place to Call Home
The story closes with the song Unchained Melody playing in the background. I blogged about that song a couple years ago and if you'd like to read about it, and listen to it, click the link.

Mr Sloane + Trying Again

Two new comedies from Sky.

Mr. Sloane is a 6-part serial starring Nick Frost with Olivia Colman, Ophelia Lovibond, Peter Serafinowicz and others. I would classify this as a thoughtful romantic comedy. Not your typical "one-liner, yuck-yuck, knee slapper".

Trying Again is a sitcom.
