The Republic of Doyle returns

The Republic of Doyle, the comedy-drama about a father-son team of private investigators in Newfoundland, has returned for another series. The father is played by Sean McGinley who was recently seen as the bad guy in the Irish cop drama Single-handed and has also appeared in British programs such as Inspector Lewis, George Gently, Taggart, Trial & Retribution, Bleak House, Waking The Dead, Pulling Moves, Midsomer Murders, Cold Feet, Minder, Boon. The son is played by Allan Hawco, who is actually a Newfoundlander.
