Little Crackers + Just William

Little Crackers is a series of 12 short films made by well known comedy actors each recounting an experience from a childhood Christmas. While a child actor portrays them in each film, the comic actors also appear in an adult role. These were broadcast on Sky 1 during the week leading up to Christmas.

Just William is a long series of very popular books written by Richmal Crompton from the 1920's to 1960's. There have been numerous film and TV adaptations over the years. The most recent were broadcast during the last 4 days of 2010. While these are certainly considered to be children's stories they also fall under the family entertainment heading. This latest adaptation features Daniel Roche (Outnumbered) as William along with Caroline Quentin and Warren Clarke.

The Comedy Christmas was a Christmas Eve special in 2007 about Christmas TV specials.
