And The Beat Goes On

And The Beat Goes On was a Channel 4 drama serial with Jenny Agutter and Lisa Faulkner among others. Not a lot of info online. One brief review: Joe Ainsworth's acclaimed drama series set in Liverpool, following the lives of two families and set against the backdrop of cultural and social change in 1960's Merseyside. Brilliantly realistic with some first class acting. A series well worth watching! Never released on VHS or DVD and never repeated on TV as far as I'm aware.
