3 comedy sketch programs from yesteryear.
First there was The Day Today, a TV news parody program. There were a lot of "names" involved with this and the Wiki page breaks it down pretty good so I'll just refer you to that:

One common denominator I noticed was the involvement of Father Ted writers Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews in all 3.
