Down The 'Gate.......when On The Buses concluded Reg Varney came up with the idea of this program with him playing a porter in a fish market. It lasted 2 series of 6 episodes each. Supposedly the tapes were wiped after broadcast and the 6 surviving episodes were recordings Varney made himself.
