Stay Lucky - Discs 1 and 2 which covers Series 1 - 3. Hopefully the 10 episode Series 4 will turn up one day although except for Waterman it had a different cast and it's these 17 episodes that are best remembered. Stay Lucky was a comedy-drama with an all-star cast of Dennis Waterman (The Sweeney, Minder, On The Up, New Tricks), Jan Francis (Secret Army, Just Good Friends), Emma Wray (Watching, My Wonderful Life), Niall Toibin (The Irish RM, Ballykissangel) and many well-known guest stars. There's not much information "out there" about this which surprises me as I've received many inquiries about this program over the years. This is the brief synopsis found on that Amz site: This long-running, light-hearted adventure series starred Dennis Waterman (who also sang the program's theme song) as Thomas Gynn, a cheeky ex-convict working in a Yorkshire neighbourhood as a taxi driver. Hoping to mend a few fences, Gynn hooked up with his former girlfriend, Sally Hardcastle (Jan Francis), the owner of a local boat-rental service. Somehow or other, both Thomas and Sally managed to get mixed up in danger and intrigue on a weekly basis.
