Rich Tea & Sympathy was a David Nobbs written comedy of 6 50-minutes episodes. Nobbs also wrote the Reggie Perrin franchise (Fall & Rise of Reginald Perrin, Legacy of Reginald Perrin, Fairly Secret Army, Reggie Perrin) and A Bit Of A Do.
This featured Patricia Hodge (who has creds as long as my arm and I wear a 36-inch sleeve so I'm not listing them here), drama and stage veteran Denis Quilley, Lionel Jeffries, Jean Alexander (Auntie Wainwright in Last of the Summer Wine), Anne Reid (there's the other 36-inch sleeve).
Not much information out there on this one, but there is at least one informative review on the IMDB site.

This is considered to be a comedy, but if you need a punchline every 30 seconds to make you happy this probably isn't for you.
