"Locksmith Roland Pierce (Warren Clarke) is shaken out of his middle-class complacency when his ex-wife was nearly killed in a robbery attempt. Part gritty drama, 'The Locksmith' also at times seems to want to be a comedy, but don't let that put you off! With some violent scenes, and references to drug use, this is an intriguing and at times chilling tale of how the lives of Pierce and his wife change when young drug addict Paul (played convincingly -and very movingly- by a 27-year old Simm) enters their lives."
