Sherlock Holmes '65

BBC produced a television series of Sherlock Holmes stories in the mid-60's starring Douglas Wilmer as Sherlock and Nigel Stock as Dr Watson. 29 episodes were aired of which 11 exist today. Some of the familiar faces from later TV years that turn up here include Rosemary Leach, Norman Mitchell, Patrick Troughton, Michael Robbins, Donald Hewlett, Anton Rodgers, David Burke, Tony Steedman, Ann Penfold, Maurice Denham, Joss Ackland, Diana King, Neil Stacy, Karin MacCarthy {Carol in The Squirrels}.
