Boomers features some very well-known actors. Alison Steadman, Stephanie Beacham, Paula Wilcox, Russ Abbot, Phil Jackson, June Whitfield, and James Smith (who isn't as well-known but was a recent regular in The Thick of It and Grandma's House). Guest appearances by Nigel Planer, Marian McLoughlin (Grafters, Thin Ice, Hometime, Doctors) and George Leyton.
Siblings stars Charlotte Ritchie (Fresh Meat) and Tom Stourton (stand up comic).
Comedy/parody crime investigative show A Touch of Cloth returned for a third series of the usual 2 episodes. Starring John Hannah.
