The Quest Trilogy

This rare comedy was tracked down by Colin in New Zealand. The Quest Trilogy, a David Jason concept, was 3 TV films about "three men, Dave, Ronno and Charlie, meet at Charlie's retirement party and reminisce about their teenage "quest" in the 1950s to get laid. This had involved travelling on their motorbikes up to the Lake District "where all the girls shag like rabbits" - but things hadn't turned out quite as they had planned." as someone posted on the IMDB website. In addition to David Jason, the present day trio features Hywell Bennett (known to many for his long role in/as Shelley) and Roy Hudd, a veteran of many one-off appearances and recently featured in the 2nd series of Missing and also had a starring role in the popular comedy Common As Muck.
