Defending The Guilty + The Cockfields
Note: Episode 1-0, the pilot, and episode 1-1 of Defending the Guilty are the same story and mostly the same recording. Two characters in the pilot were replaced with different actresses in the series and scenes involving those two roles were reshot for the series.

Great Canal Journeys
Life on the water with Timothy West and Prunella Scales. Not your typical travel type documentary show hosted by some actor or presenter as it's as much about them as their journey and destinations.
The show has now ended. In April 2016 I posted a disc here containing the first 14 episodes, but the quality wasn't very good. All these files are new and from excellent quality HD recordings.

Dad's Army - Lost Episodes
The 3 lost Dad's Army episodes from 50 years ago were recreated and aired last week. While the replacement actors were not trying to impersonate the original cast, they still could have probably done a better selection for some of the roles. I thought Kevin Bishop did a good job as Walker in the 2015 TV movie We're Doomed! To me, this time around, the most obvious weak link was Robert Bathurst as Sgt. Wilson, whose performance was a flat as a first-draft script read-through.

update 7 August
Still very little happening on television.
I'll start off with current stuff.
Ackley Hill Road Bridge returned for a 3rd series.
Bad actors need work too and Hollyoaks can only hire so many.

if anyone puts files on a cloud or other type storage and then
streams them to a tablet to view, let me know as with quite a few
of these shows you'd be much better off with MP4 files than AVI
in terms of quality.
