Birds of a Feather

As one show bows out, another returns from the dead. We last saw Tracey and Sharon on Christmas Eve 1998 when they ended their very successful 10 year run of Birds of a Feather. Now, 15 years later, Birds has returned with 8 new episodes. Typically, things that return many years later don't usually come off  very well, but I have to say this one doesn't miss a beat. I think a lot of people outside the UK (without access to the broadcasts) will get these and end up immediately being drawn back in and watching the 8 new episodes straight through in one sitting.
Since it's now on ITV that would require only 3 hours of your time. The good news is it has already been announced that it will return next year with another series.
