The Cafe

Talk of the devil, The Cafe has returned for a second series. The Cafe is a comedy written by and starring Ralf Little and Michelle Terry with a large cast including Ellie Haddington and David Troughton with Robert Glenister, Marcia Warren and Brian Murphy and a bunch of other people. The first series was directed by Craig Cash and it certainly shares a lot of the production elements of the Royle Family and Early Doors such as no laugh track and quirky-but-believable characters. It's also, for me, a nice chance to revisit the Weston-Super-Mare Marine Parade at no cost.
