?
The other night I watched a little TV and I saw Series 2 / Episode 2 of Two In Clover from 1970 and by coincidence followed that with the penultimate episode of the excellent Never The Twain (Two Fools and Their Money) from 1991 and discovered, much to my surprise and amusement, despite being 2 different shows and being over 20 years apart, both were from the same script! It was like déjà vu all over again, as the great Yogi Berra once said. Instead of being two farmers (Sid James and Victor Spinetti) it was two antique dealers (Windsor Davies and Donald Sinden) the second time around. Anyone know of any other examples of the same script being used by more than one program?
(In Two In Clover the role of the banker was played by the late Garfield Morgan while in Never The Twain it was Peter Cellier who I don't recall ever having a leading role but appears in so many TV series and films I wouldn't even know where to begin listing them. He was most recently seen in the Crimson Petal and the White as Lord Watson at the age of 82. Cheers to Peter!)
