The Squirrels
The Squirrels is a 1970's sitcom with Bernard Hepton, Ken Jones, Alan David, Patsy Rowlands, Ellis Jones and Karin MacCarthy. The 22 (of 28) surviving episodes. Hepton, Jones and Rowlands need no introduction. Alan David pops up in a lot of TV shows but in the past decade is best known for being the annoying neighbor Llewellyn in the Green Green Grass. Jones went on to a successful career as an actor trainer and stage director. One of several to write episodes for this was Eric Chappell (Rising Damp, Home To Roost, Only When I Laugh, Duty Free, etc.) who in 1991 wrote an updated version of this and called it Fiddler's Three with a somewhat younger cast of Charles Kay, Peter Davison, Peter Blake, Paula Wilcox, Tyler Butterworth and Cindy Marshall-Day.....and the remake didn't have them all sitting at the same desk in the office scenes.
