The Results Are In!

Yes, the results of the great Vote For Your Favorite UK Comedy of the 90's Poll are in.

It received a whopping 15 votes and one of them was me.
It was a 3-way tie for first place with Keeping Up Appearances, One Foot In The Grave and The Vicar Of Dibley all receiving 60% of the votes. Not surprising since those 3 shows all enjoyed long runs on most PBS stations in the US too. Particularly KUA and VOD which have been beaten to death by PBS for years.

Coming in next at #4 with 53% of the votes is Last of the Summer Wine.

Coming in at #5 and #6, another tie with 46% of the votes was Father Ted and The Thin Blue Line.

A really big tie for #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12 getting 40% of the votes are As Time Goes By, Barbara, dinnerladies, Goodnight Sweetheart, Men Behaving Badly and Bean.

Tie for #13, #14, #15 with 33% of the votes are Absolutely Fabulous, Waiting For God, and You Rang M' Lord?.

At # 16 - #22 with 26% of the votes are 2point4 Children, Birds Of A Feather, The Brittas Empire, Game On, Oh Dr Beeching, The Royle Family and Watching.

Lastly, a tie for #23 - #26 with 20% is French & Saunders, Chef!, Drop The Dead Donkey and French Fields.

So there's the top 26 according to all 15 of us. Not very scientific.
