The popular 1990s Scottish drama serial Machair ran for 151 episodes over 12 series. In the past, a number of you out there were interested in this show which was filmed, and took place on, the Outer Hebrides. The 13 episodes of Series 7, which aired in early 1996, were missing but are now available below.
13 episodes aired about 40 years ago, starring Diane Keen who was coming off successful runs with The Cuckoo Waltz, Rings On Their Fingers and the Shillingbury Tales. Also featuring Patrick Troughton, Gregor Fisher, Alan David, Milton Johns.......... just one episode (the 6th). Hopefully more will turn up in the future.
A Slight Case Of.....stars Roy Kinnear with a whole bunch of familiar faces as guest stars, some of which starred in later Croft shows, including Hugh Lloyd, Syd Tafler, Bryan Pringle, Harry Fowler, John Junkin, Arnold Ridley, Rosemary Martin, Jon Pertwee, Kenneth Connor, Melvyn Hayes, Rolf Harris, Alfie Bass.
