Red Rock has gone on hiatus and ended this series as you would have expected it to. This is only half a disc but if you don't want to wait 6 months to see how it ends..................

Dale, hanging out by the beach on balmy Vancouver Island, requested this Danish crime series that aired 2000-2002 and then came back with two concluding holiday specials in 2003. Oops. I see a typo. Episode 31 aired Christmas Day. Anyway, these are older files made with early DivX codecs and I cannot burn the subtitles into the video. Each episode also has a .srt English subtitle file. I highly doubt your disc players will play the subtitles for more than 10 minutes or so. What I did was copy all 32 files to a small 16 GB USB flash drive and plugged it into a smart TV, selected the USB input and hit play and they've been playing for hours with no problem. If your disc player can't keep up with the subtitles, that's not my problem. The problem is your disc player.

Trivia is an Irish comedy from 5 - 6 years ago. Despite being well-received at the time there's not much online about it these days. This was posted by someone on IMDB: The show focuses on the captain of a pub quiz team - a man who knows it all but has learnt nothing. Trivia explores the relationships between the four team members and their thirty something contemporaries in a small town in Monaghan as they close in on victory for 52 consecutive weeks! Starring David Pearse, who seems to turn up in a lot of shows, and Aisling Bea, who gets a lot of work these days, was in the second series.

Just want to clarify this disc.....again. This disc is a DVD-R disc containing about 70 hours of radio shows as mp3 files. Most CAR disc players will play CD-R discs containing mp3 files, but those discs are limited to 700 MB of space as opposed to the 4700 MB on this disc. What you do with the files is up to you, not me. I think most people just copy these to their smart phone or a tablet and play them in the car using a bluetooth connection. Again....this is a 4.7 GB DVD-R disc containing mp3 files. It's not a CD.

Benidorm has returned for a ninth series and in doing so has joined a select group of comedies that have aired for over 10 years uninterrupted. Discounting shows that have been revived after a lengthy hiatus, Benidorm now joins Last of the Summer Wine (37½ years), Are You Being Served? (12½ years), Happy Ever After / Terry and June (14½ years), As Time Goes By, One Foot in the Grave, My Family, Not Going Out, Peep Show and Never The Twain in the "decade club". I suspose Only Fools and Horses, Absolutely Fabulous and the Vicar of Dibley should also be included, but they did exist only as periodic Christmas specials for many years.  'Allo 'Allo! falls short by about 2 weeks. Benidorm will be returning for a tenth series, but with some cast changes.

Car Share + Comedy Shuffle

After the award-winning first series aired a couple years ago, there was much anticipation for a second series of Car Share. Reduced to 4 episodes this time around, Peter Kay has stated that there will be no further episodes of Car Share. I have a feeling he is going to be hounded about this much like John Sullivan probably was on Boxing Day 1984 after what was supposed to be the final episode of Just Good Friends aired the night before. Or perhaps even like Carla Lane was in the early 80's after the end of the third "and final" series of Butterflies. People are not happy about the ending. Nevertheless, it made a star of Sian Gibson and hopefully didn't typecast her. I was going to put Cradle To Grave on with this since Boy Meets Girl returned for a second series, but I see Cradle is returning for a second series. I had Comedy Shuffle on a disc with The Windsors and Upstart Crow, but both of those shows are also  returning for second series, so this is as good a place for it as any.

I forgot about this one, and it's a good one too. BBC ||! blackish comedy Witless released a second series back in January which, like the first series, ended on a cliff hanger. It will be returning for a third and final series in the future. Starring Kerry Howard (Reggie Perrin, Him & Her, Give Out Girls, Young Hyacinth) and Zoe Boyle (Downton Abbey, Breathless, Frontier).
