Unforgotten returned for a second series. I could not get any HD recordings of the last episode to convert to .avi without the audio going progressively out of sync with the video. Tried 3 different recordings and 2 different formats. So I had to opt for a lower quality recording....if anyone notices.

Alan Simpson 1929 - 2017

Writer Alan Simpson has died. With his writing partner Ray Galton he wrote for such classic comedy shows as Hancock's Half Hour, Steptoe and Son, Citizen James, Frankie Howerd Show, Casanova '73, and Clochemerle. He retired from writing about 30 years ago.

Changes in Paradise

Death in Paradise has proven to be a popular show around the English-speaking world and it's been leaked that Kris Marshall is leaving the show after the current series for the same reasons Ben Miller left a few years ago - too much time away from family. He is to be replaced by Ardal O'Hanlon who was introduced in last night's episode. If the show continues Ardal may be inclined to stick around longer as, unlike his two predecessors, I believe all his children are now in their late teens.
