Our Girl + Playhouse Presents Series 3
Some new drama.
Our Girl first appeared as a one-off about a year and a half ago and is also found on Smorg 47. That led to the development of the recently aired drama series. Starring Lacey Turner of EastEnders fame.
Our Girl
Playhouse Presents returned for a third series back in Spring. I was never able to track down all of Series 2. A few of the episodes are found here and there on various smorg discs and the Psychobitches episodes are on a disc with Family Tree and Quick Cuts. I'm pleased to say Series 3 didn't suffer that fate. These 8 stand-alone drama's feature some pretty famous faces including:
Jo Brand, Alan Davies, Rebekah Stanton, Kevin Eldon, Sylvia Simms, Richard Wilson, Simon Callow, Robert Vaughn, Scarlett Alice Johnson, Daniel Mays, Lindsay Duncan, Billie Piper, Kimberley Nixon, Matthew Perry, Jane Horrocks, Jason Watkins, Alice Barry, Mark Strong.

The Games + This Is Littleton + Utopia
Three similar Australian comedy shows from 16 years apart.
The Games, a mockumentary which aired in late 1998, was about the preparation for the 2000 Olympics. You may recall the more recent British mockumentary called Twenty Twelve which was about preparation for the 2012 Olympics? (That spun off a show which aired last winter called W1A where some of the Twenty Twelve management team is hired by the BBC...and will be returning in the future).
This Is Littleton is a political comedy sketch show that takes place in a city council administrative office.
Utopia, which aired over the past couple of months, is a satirical comedy about "a newly created government organisation responsible for overseeing major infrastructure projects".

The Strain
New one for the zombie crowd. American show, but one of the main stars is David Bradley, which probably explains why he's missing from the current series of Mount Pleasant. This has been renewed for another series.
